Our Terms & Conditions

1. Important Notice

By engaging with ZTN IT Solutions, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and grant permission for us to process your personal data in accordance with South African privacy legislation. These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any changes.

Failure to settle outstanding invoices older than one calendar month may result in service suspension. Acceptance of terms for one service does not imply acceptance for others. You agree to limit ZTN IT Solutions’ liability and to indemnify us against certain risks and omissions.

2. Definitions

  • ZTN IT Solutions refers to ZTN IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd and any entity to which it may assign or delegate rights or obligations.
  • Client refers to the individual or entity entering into a service agreement with ZTN IT Solutions.
  • Domain refers to an Internet subdomain registered and managed by ZTN IT Solutions or its partners.
  • Supplier refers to any third-party provider of goods or services to ZTN IT Solutions.

3. Client Obligations

Clients must ensure all submitted information is truthful and current. ZTN IT Solutions may request identity verification at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), including illegal or offensive content. Acceptable use is defined solely by ZTN IT Solutions.

4. Service Availability

While we strive for high uptime and reliability, ZTN IT Solutions does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime caused by client misconfiguration or external factors is not our liability. We reserve the right to discontinue any service deemed unsuitable or unsustainable.

5. Payment Terms

Only approved payment methods are accepted. Service suspension may occur if payments are overdue. Accepted methods include PayFast and Stripe. EFTs are not supported for web-related services. Stripe credit card details are securely stored for recurring billing unless removal is requested.

6. Contract Duration and Termination

All services are provided on a month-to-month basis and are payable in advance. Clients may cancel services via the ZTN IT Solutions client portal or by submitting written notice to support@ztn.co.za. Failure to follow the correct cancellation procedure may result in continued billing or applicable service charges. It remains the client’s responsibility to confirm that cancellation has been acknowledged and processed.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

ZTN IT Solutions adheres to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Only the registered client has authority over the account unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security protocols but cannot guarantee immunity from breaches. Clients must avoid introducing malicious software. In the event of a compromise, ZTN IT Solutions may access the account for investigation purposes.

9. Domain Services

ZTN IT Solutions registers domains on behalf of clients and complies with the relevant domain authority’s terms. We are not liable for delays in registration or propagation. Domain fees are non-refundable and subject to renewal charges.

10. Domain Transfers

Clients requesting domain transfers confirm they have authority to do so. ZTN IT Solutions is indemnified against disputes arising from domain ownership.

11. Cancellation and Data Retention

Upon cancellation, all hosted data is permanently deleted. Clients are responsible for maintaining backups. ZTN IT Solutions does not guarantee access to backups post-termination.

12. Hosting Services

We reserve the right to decline hosting or domain registration requests. Excessive resource usage may incur additional charges. Clients must respond promptly to denial-of-service (DoS) incidents. Support is limited to paid hosting packages only.

13. Backups

Clients are solely responsible for data backups. ZTN IT Solutions provides backups “as is” and assumes no liability for their integrity or availability.

14. Email and SPAM

We provide spam and virus filtering but cannot guarantee perfect accuracy. Email client configuration is the client’s responsibility.

15. Intellectual Property and Equipment

Client data remains the property of the client. All hardware and infrastructure remain the property of ZTN IT Solutions.

16. Software Updates

We maintain server operating systems but are not responsible for third-party software updates on client accounts.

17. Affiliate Program

ZTN IT Solutions reserves the right to accept, reject, or amend affiliate agreements with 30 days’ notice.

18. Complaints

Clients may submit complaints via support@ztn.co.za or through the client portal.

19. Domain Expiry (.uk Namespace)

No redemption fees are charged—only standard renewal rates apply.

20. Limitation of Liability

ZTN IT Solutions is not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from service use or domain registration. Our liability is limited to the pro-rata monthly fee for the affected service. Clients indemnify ZTN IT Solutions against third-party claims and acknowledge that we may disclose registration details to domain authorities when required.
